Hotspot simplifies the process of planning informal gatherings with groups of people

Coordinating schedules and deciding on a time and place to meet can be a hassle, especially through group texts. Hotspot eliminates stress and allows you to spend more time enjoying the company of your friends. With Hotspot, planning events like a date night or after-work drinks is easy, fun, and efficient.

The client had already built an MVP with basic features, but the user interface and experience needed enhancement. To increase the likelihood of users keeping the app, it is crucial that they immediately understand the value and next steps of the app when they first open it.

I started by conducting discovery sessions to gain insight into the problem, establish the app’s vision and identify the target audience. Using wireframing, I mapped out the user journey.

After finalizing the main flows, I turned my attention to design. I used vibrant colors to highlight important areas and guide users through the app.

I delivered a comprehensive package containing wireframes, mockups, a prototype, a design system, and a roadmap for potential future features.
